Solitude - Zeyda Romero

A striking underwater photograph of a dark-colored fish swimming against a vibrant background of golden-orange and turquoise kelp or seaweed. The fish appears to be a type of bass or similar species, with a mottled grey-black coloring and distinctive silvery-white fins. Its round eye and streamlined profile are clearly visible as it hovers in the water. A Fresno State graduate with a BA in English, Zeyda is completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University this spring. Her extensive background in writing includes six years as a writing tutor, with four years at the Fresno State Writing Center. Her creative work, spanning poetry, photography, and art, has been featured in HAIS and CWAA publications.
