Missed Call - Zeyda Romero

A traditional public payphone booth nestled in a serene forest setting. The booth is a standard design with white and blue coloring, with the word "Phone" displayed on top in blue letters. The phone booth looks somewhat weathered, with a few stickers visible on its interior walls. The surrounding environment is enveloped by lush, green foliage. There are large tree branches visible overhead with bright green leaves that are illuminated by sunlight, creating a dappled, golden effect. The forest floor is also covered in green vegetation.

A Fresno State graduate with a BA in English, Zeyda is completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University this spring. Her extensive background in writing includes six years as a writing tutor, with four years at the Fresno State Writing Center. Her creative work, spanning poetry, photography, and art, has been featured in HAIS and CWAA publications.
